What Is A Comfort Fit Ring?

Hi!

If you’ve been on any reputable website that sells Men’s wedding rings, you’ve undoubtedly come across the term “Comfort Fit”. Just briefly, we want to explain what this is. Most cheap bands won’t be comfort fit, and without doing a sales job on you, there is a reason why you should always choose comfort fit for a wedding ring. Comfort fit refers to the inside of the ring. Where a non-comfort ring is either flat or concave on the inside, a comfort fit ring is convex (as pictured). This makes the ring a lot more comfortable to take on and off, and is also much more comfortable for daily wear. A wedding ring is worn every day, so don’t underestimate how much you’ll appreciate this extra luxury. Of course, if you are buying a precious metal wedding ring, it will use more metal than a non comfort fit ring, and will be more expensive. This is why cheap gold wedding rings are often flat inside, or even hollowed out!

Titanium, tungsten and ceramic wedding rings should all be comfort fit from the outset, and the heavier the band (like tungsten for example) the more important it becomes. Personally, I find that I can’t go back to non-comfort fit bands, even for dress rings that aren’t worn all the time, and I have yet to meet someone who has been able to go back to flat or hollow bands after wearing a comfort fit.

I hope this helps, and if you need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact our support staff.

Kind Regards,

Tessa
