Black zirconium starts life as a silver-grey metal that's heat-treated to form a permanent black oxide layer on the surface. The black finish is part of the metal itself — not a coating that can chip or wear off. This one comes in a 8mm width — Underneath, zirconium is biocompatible and hypoallergenic.
